Kelvin from BlendIMC have worked on a few of our friend's projects and was recommended to us by a friend while we were waiting for our BTO. After the initial meeting with Kelvin, we immediately trusted him to deliver what we've envision and abandoned our search for other IDs. Being new home owners, we were clueless about many things. We love how patient and responsive Kelvin is and would educate us about the practicality, and advise us accordingly without compromising on craft and aesthetics. Visitors who came over after the reno were also impressed by the carpentry provided. Thumbs up for after reno service touch up too.
Honestly there are many horror stories about IDs out there, and one of my friends even told me if your renovation can go smoothly means you've been blessed. and damn, I think I'm blessed then, cause our experience with Kelvin was pretty smooth sailing.
Even before my reno finished, I recommended Kelvin to my colleague who was renovating his home at the same time, and my colleague dropped his current ID and went ahead with Kelvin.
We have been living in our new home for close to 10 months now and we love it.

We engaged Blend to renovate our second home and after living in it for more than a month, we knew that we've made the right decision.
From the very first meetup with our ID, Cheryl, we could tell how she was listening to our needs and requirement. She took down everything that we wanted and tried her best to accommodate to it and if it was not feasible, she will provide an alternative.
We had a tight timeline as our reno period clashed with a couple of major holidays. Other than this, we didn't face much reno stress throughout.
Some key areas that I'd like to compliment Cheryl on are:
1. Reliability & Accountability: We left it up to her 100% to manage our home reno and she came through like a champ. If there were hiccups, she'd keep us posted and reminded us of what needs to be done or bought and what not to do etc.
2. Responsiveness: She is responsive to our queries be it via calls or texts and we are sure to get a reply within the next hour. If she is held up somewhere or busy, Yan, who is helping her would step in. Cheryl and Yan are the perfect example of a great teamwork. Not once did we have to follow up with them to reply or call them multiple times.
3. Creativity: Before deciding on Blend, we did meet up with other IDs and none of them could beat Cheryl's ideas. She understood our likes and dislikes, used that to create and channel it to our home. Her ideas were unique and most importantly, we loved it.
4. Meticulousness: Cheryl has a very sharp eye for detail so she uses this share with us her thoughts on what will blend with the theme and what will not. She ensured every corner of the house was in perfect condition before handing it over.
5. Dedication: Her dedication to provide our dream home was shown throughout our reno journey and even post reno. She would check in with us to ensure everything is good and if there are any issues to quickly inform her so that she could get it rectified.
Cheryl has a lot of great qualities that makes her the perfect ID and if people were to ask me if I would recommend her and Blend, 100% in a heartbeat. You will not have regrets engaging her or Blend as you will be in good hands. Cheryl held our hands throughout and ensured that everything was seamless. Of course there were hiccups that were unavoidable but she will listen and help us to find a solution. Another thing to note is that they have their own carpentry company so you can be assured that their craftsmanship is of top tier quality :)
Thank you Cheryl and Blend team for all of your hard work and dedication to ensure our house turns into a home. It is so beautiful that we get compliments from our guests all the time. We chose Blend as our ID because we loved their aesthetic and their quotation was a lot more affordable than other IDs we met!
During our first meeting with Yan & Kelvin, we were very impressed at their knowledge as well as how detail oriented they were. It definitely helps that we felt like we could connect with them as people and not just designers :)
During the entire process, Yan & Kelvin were keen to understand our needs, lifestyle and habits - always looking for creative ways to balance style with practicality. Although they often offered differing opinions, it helps with widening our perspectives!
Even after the renovation where we found minor defects here and there, they were always prompt in responding and providing advice/rectifications.
Before starting, we were quite afraid as we've heard many horror stories from friends' about poor workmanship, delayed schedules and etc. But we're so thankful that Blend prioritises quality and keeps to timeline! We managed to complete our renovation within the stated duration with little hiccups - a testament to their project management skills!

We had initial meetings with quite a few IDs but were impressed with Kelvin and Yan Rong from BlendByIMC from the get-go because they were very design-centric and they came with good suggestions and opinions when we laid out our initial ideas. They provided sound recommendations and inputs, which was well- appreciated because we are quite indecisive people. The end result was amazing - they have managed to translate each one of our (considerably different) needs and preferences into well thought out design. We especially love the well-integrated living room and kitchen, along with the color palette. While there may have been some post-reno hiccups, the team was quick to respond and provide solutions which I was grateful for. Thanks again to the team for their efforts and service 😊

To engage Blend by lmC was unexpected as it was the last company to get in touch with us. We were impressed by their attitude and the amount of preparation they put in before meeting us to go through the initial draft. We liked the 2D rendering that they did for the first meeting. It helped to see the ideas in picture form and they were very open to our ideas too. Yan has an eye for colours and designs and was a great help when it comes to selection of tiles. We are just glad the renovation journey is over and we can finally settle into our new place.

Rather than a run-of-the-mill design, we were searching for a designer who could deliver a modern boho farmhouse theme for our dream home. After engaging many IDs and reno firms, our designer, yan from Blend, stands out from the crowd. From the get-go, she captured our imagination with a fantastic mood board. Given the limited space available in a bto flat, she was able conceptualise the design and create a bright and spacious living space. Her attention to detail is really commendable. Throughout the renovation process, although some slight hiccups and small design changes were unavoidable, yan took it in her stride and delivered an immaculate home.

I knew nothing about ID & renovation when I embarked to a full makeover of our newly bought resale flat. I chatted with at least 8~ID before I settled with Yan from Blend. I like the ideas of a young vibrant team and open communications. I asked lot of questions throughout the reno and I always received prompt responses back from Yan. I most appreciate pragmatic views from Yan. There were a few designs I wanted for the flat which was not practical and I appreciate Yan being able to share her professional views. The color visualization done by Yan was excellent and my flat turned out to be in the color mood that I have conceptualized. The agreed timeline was managed very nicely. Yan and Zac coordinated my requests without major hiccups. They went an extra mile for me when I needed an onsite advise on my own sourced curtain specialist, Zac was readily at my flat waiting. I feel that Blend having their own carpentry workshop is a plus as there is no 3rd party involved if you needed some changes/ advices. I heard stories that you hardly will get a response for rectifications post handover, I'm glad Blend stood out. I did not receive any push back and all I raised have been promptly attended to.
